Tentatively is an original gouache painting made on an antique lithograph of a butterfly. The model posed specifically for this project—with the promise that she’d be given wings. Her figure rests lightly against the historic print, creating a quiet tension between vulnerability and emergence.

This piece is about transformation: grieving what has fallen away while gathering the courage to step into something new.
