This original gouache painting was made on an antique lithograph of the moon from The London Geographical Institute, 1925. The moon phase is on the 3rd day of the lunar calendar, symbolized by “a leopard preparing for a leap.” I channeled that active struggle, while painting her.

The painting measures approximately 7x9 inches and is delicately float-mounted inside a black Walnut gallery frame. The final dimensions are approximately 10x12 inches. This piece ships framed and ready to hang.
