This original gouache painting was made on an antique lithograph of the moon from The London Geographical Institute, 1925. The moon phase is on the 7th day of the lunar calendar, and I love this phase because it’s symbolized by the wild rose. “Words possess a particular power today, what you say might easily come true.” It’s a day of verbal magic.
