This is an original gouache painting of a nude woman, wrapping herself in a boa. The “canvas” is an antique handwritten piece of sheet music for the bugle. This band played together in 1898, as evidenced by the photo found with this sheet music.

The bugle card painting measures 6.5 × 4.5 inches. It has been preserved in a white gallery frame, float-mounted over a pale pink mat. This piece arrives framed and ready to hang. (The band photo is not included in the sale.)
