The Lobster

The Lobster
$1,100.00
I painted a figure in gouache directly onto an antique British fishing-book lithograph of a lobster (c. 1920).
Long associated with regeneration, transformation, and strength, the lobster becomes a symbolic counterpart to the human figure. Shown nude against the lithograph, she mirrors those same qualities — holding both vulnerability and defense, softness at her core and armor at the surface.
