I painted a nude on an antique floor map of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The paper was actually loose in a very old copy of “Baedeker’s United States” from 1899.

I was inspired by this gorgeous reference from Diana Jean and opted to paint this one in grayscale — to mimic all of the statues in the museum’s historic halls.
