The Heckled One
The Heckled One
$4,750.00
I painted on an old Songster from 1889, with a creepy clown on the cover. Inside are all of the lyrics to “Rock-A-Bye Baby” (Did you know there are four verses?!) and other old timey songs.
I used painted a woman with edge, one who could ignore the heckles of even the most maniacal — and stay focused. I took inspiration from the words scrolling across the cover": “Dream and Fate.”
The painting measures 4 in. x 6.5 in. It has been float-mounted in a fluted antiqued gold frame and ships ready to hang. (Final dimensions = 10.63 in. × 13.63 in.)
